Pentaclethra Macroloba Oil (Pracaxi Oil). Pracaxi oil contains one of the highest concentrations of a fatty acid named behenic acid. This fatty acid protects and hydrates when used in hair care and skin. Pracaxi Oil is used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical products designed for wound healing and scar reduction. Using Pracaxi oil has been found to increase the density of collagen networks and increase hyaluronic acid content in the skin & may be useful in products aimed at mature skin types. Niacinamide is the active form of Vitamin B3. A safe, nonirritating cosmeceutical ingredient which research shows can offer a number of benefits in improving the appearance of aged and photodamaged skin and improve skin moisturization. While its precise mechanism of action is not clear, clinical studies have shown topical niacinamide to be effective in improving skin texture and the appearance of hyperpigmented spots, with improvement in red blotchiness and the reduction of the severity of fine lines. It has been shown to stimulate collagen synthesis and production of ceramide, a lipid compound that contributes to the functional and structural integrity of the skin barrier.

N-acetyl glucosamine is considered to be a “skin identical ingredient”, meaning it’s found in our skin in the spaces between the cells, and it is used to maintain skin’s barrier abilities and reduce dryness. Studies have shown that NAG can increase collagen production, increase moisture content of the skin, increase elasticity of the skin, increase exfoliation, and increase the speed of wound healing. NAG has been shown to reduce hyperpigmentation and can be combined with niacinamide to further increase its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation. N-Acetyl Glucosamine is an amino sugar that has skin exfoliating properties similar to alpha and beta hydroxyl acids with a lower risk of irritation.

Applying hyaluronic acid to the skin may help hydrate the skin raising moisture levels and smoothing wrinkles.

Mix your own clay mask by combining 1 & 1/2 teaspoons of clay mask powder with 3 teaspoons of water (or more stirring) until a soft gelled paste forms. Apply mask to clean dry skin on face avoiding eyes, nostrils, and mouth.
Leave on skin for up to 20 minutes & relax. Remove the mask while mask is still damp before it dries to the powder or cracking stage on skin.
Optional before removing mask you can enjoy additional exfoliation by gently massaging the moist mask onto skin with a moistened cloth.
Rinse thoroughly to remove & gently dry skin.
Mask can be used up to two times a week.

    This yellow clay antioxidant face mask powder has made my skin look firmer. I can feel my facial skin is more hydrated now. The collagen-containing mask exfoliates gently, leaving my skin looking younger.
