Avena Sativa kernel flour (Colloidal Oatmeal Powder). Oats contain molecules which can improve skin condition. Of these molecules, the particularly important ones are lipids, beta glucan and antioxidants. Lipids – Lipids replenish lost oils in the skin preventing dryness and irritation. Beta glucan acts as a deep moisturizer and helps to maintain skin firmness by inducing collagen production. Antioxidants – Oats are packed with antioxidants. One group unique to oats, called Avenanthramides, work like an antihistamine, reducing redness and itchiness when the skin is irritated. Behenyl Alcohol is a natural, vegetable source emollient fatty alcohol. Fatty alcohols are a combination of oils and fats with alcohol that actually have hydrating and emollient properties. It functions as a thickener and stabilizer. This product is produced from vegetable sources and is derived from non-genetically modified plants.
Bentonite Clay is considered by many as a healing clay and has been widely used. When applied to the skin, it is thought to absorbs toxins and poisons that get trapped in the skin. The clay typically originates from the mountainous Wyoming region and is mined directly from the earth.
Bisabolol known as a-Bisabolol is a naturally occurring active ingredient sustainably derived from the bark of the Candeia Tree of Brazil. Bisabolol is known to accelerate the healing process of skin with anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory & anti-bacterial properties. It has also been demonstrated in studies to enhance the dermal penetration of other ingredients.
Borage Officinalis Seed Oil (Borage seed oil) Organic is rich in essential fatty acids and is well known for being the richest commercial plant source of Gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). Caryodendron Orinocense Seed Oil (Cacay Oil) Cacay oil contains twice as much vitamin E as argan oil and three times as much retinol as rosehip seed oil. Cetyl Palmitate is a fatty ester that can hydrate skin without a greasy feeling. It also thickens & adds structure along with forming a protective film on the skin.
Citric Acid is a natural acid produced by biofermentation of glucose derived from starch. Citric acid is widely used in cosmetics to adjust pH in formulations and has mild chelating properties.
Cocamidopropyl PG-Dimonium Chloride Phosphate belongs to a family of natural triglyceride phospholipids similar to phospholipids that occur naturally in the body. This ingredient has many uses including gentle cleansing and foaming properties, anti-irritation effects when combined with anionic surfactants, long-lasting skin conditioning, and antimicrobial activity. Coco Caprylate/Caprate is a naturally-derived, biodegradable cosmetic oil certified by Ecocert and other green organizations as an efficient replacement of silicones in skincare formulations. Coco Caprylate spreads quickly and has a pleasant, dry skin feel.

Copaifera Officinalis (Copaiba Balsam Oil) natural and unrefined. Copaiba oil is valued because of its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and emollient properties. Recommended for anti-acne, depilatory & for oily skin with antiseptic properties. May relieve the pain and itching of inflamed and irritated skin. The chemical composition of the copaiba oil-resin may have approximately 72 sesquiterpenes (hydrocarbons) and 28 diterpenes (carboxylic acids). The most studied sesquiterpene is beta- caryophyllene (found in CBD) showing high efficiency in pain relief.

Dicaprylyl Carbonate is a light dry oil with a velvety feel derived from renewable plant feedstocks. Alternative to silicones and biodegradable.
Dicaprylyl ether is an oil derived from caprylic acid, a fatty acid found in coconut and palm kernel oils & is based on 100% natural feedstocks. It moisturizes and enhances the skin’s lipid layer, without leaving it oily. This ingredient is approved by both Ecocert & NPA.

D,L-Panthenol, aka Pro-Vitamin B5, is a stable mixture of D-Panthenol and L-Panthenol. The human body readily absorbs D,L-Panthenol through the skin and it rapidly converts D-Panthenol to Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), a natural constituent of healthy hair and a substance present in all living cells. Euphorbia cerifera (Candelilla) Wax is naturally extracted from a shrub named Euphorbia Cerifera, indigenous to northern Mexico and is Vegan. Candelilla Wax functions as a thickening and hardening agent, a plasticizer, a viscosity modifier, an emollient, and a skin-protective barrier agent that helps prevent the skin from losing moisture. It contributes shine and functions as a stabilizer, an emulsifier, a fast-absorbing lubricant, and a nourishing skin conditioner.
French Green Clay has been used for centuries on oily skin because of its excellent oil absorption properties. For years it has been thought to remove acne causing toxins from the skin and revitalize tired skin.
French Pink Clay is considered the mildest purifier of all the clays & is used for sensitive, mature, irritated, and normal skin types.

Galactoarabanin is a natural extract from the western larch tree. It has film-forming properties which help prevent water loss and provides a skin tightening effect.
Garcinia Indica (Kokum Butter Unrefined) is from the tree of life in India. Kokum Butter is rich in Vitamin E & nutrients. The combination of moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of kokum butter make it an excellent ingredient to combat the visible signs of aging. Maltodextrin is naturally derived from starch & binds other ingredients together preventing them from coming apart. Maltodextrin functions as a moisturizing ingredient as it supports the Natural Moisturizing Factors found within the first few layers of the skin.
Mangifera Indica Butter (Mango Butter Organic Unrefined). The mango tree (Mangifera indica) grows in the sub-tropics of India and other parts of the globe. From its seed a firm “butter” is rendered, suitable for soaps, cosmetics, toiletries, and pharmaceuticals. Mango butter exhibits excellent moisturizing properties and good lubricity. N-acetyl glucosamine is considered to be a “skin identical ingredient”, meaning it’s found in our skin in the spaces between the cells, and it is used to maintain skin’s barrier abilities and reduce dryness. Studies have shown that NAG can increase collagen production, increase moisture content of the skin, increase elasticity of the skin, increase exfoliation, and increase the speed of wound healing. NAG has been shown to reduce hyperpigmentation and can be combined with niacinamide to further increase its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation. N-Acetyl Glucosamine is an amino sugar that has skin exfoliating properties similar to alpha and beta hydroxyl acids with a lower risk of irritation. (Not Vegan as derived from shellfish)
Niacinamide is the active form of Vitamin B3. A safe, nonirritating cosmeceutical ingredient which research shows can offer a number of benefits in improving the appearance of aged and photodamaged skin and improve skin moisturization. While its precise mechanism of action is not clear, clinical studies have shown topical niacinamide to be effective in improving skin texture and the appearance of hyperpigmented spots, with improvement in red blotchiness and the reduction of the severity of fine lines. It has been shown to stimulate collagen synthesis and production of ceramide, a lipid compound that contributes to the functional and structural integrity of the skin barrier.

Olea europaea (Olive leaf powder) Olive leaf is high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Olive leaf powder contains flavonoids and oleanolic acid, which stimulate the production of collagen, and may helps to heal wounds. Olive leaf powder has anti-inflammatory & astringent properties while providing gentle exfoliation in masks.
Opuntia Ficus Indica (Prickly Pear) Seed Oil is loaded with many nutrients including fatty acids, vitamin E & phytosterols that benefit both skin & hair.
