Our Origin

Taking care of yourself is an important part of daily life. Aging, inflammation, pollution, lifestyle, stress and illness take a toll on our body, skin & hair. My sister struggled with persistent rough, dry  “Alligator Skin” on both of her legs. She got no relief from moisturizing lotions.

As a compounding pharmacist I began to research ingredients commonly used by the beauty industry. Some of the cosmetic ingredients have been linked to harmful health effects & or are toxic to the environment. 

Ingredients applied to the skin may be absorbed into the body exposing you to health risks including cancer. Does it make sense to use products that could risk your health? Searching for an answer led to the development of non-toxic, sustainable & eco-friendly products for skin and hair.

Along with a trove of early attempts and samples, my sister got her lotion bar.
